United Daily News ePaper SUBSCRIPTION AGREEMENT
The following are the terms and conditions with regard to your membership of UNITY MEDIA MALAYSIA BERHAD (hereinafter referred to as "United Daily News"). After being subscribed to be a subscriber of United Daily News ePaper, you ("Subscriber") can enjoy various kind of service, consisting of information services and contents, offered through the affiliated website weareunited.com.my from time to time by United Daily News ("the Service").

1. 接受条款
以下为《联合日报》为订户提供的订阅服务之条款。所有订户必须遵守以下条款。而《联合日报》会于必要时更新条款内容。如订户并未同意遵守订阅条款，请勿进行订阅注册。一旦阁下完成了新订户注册及付款手续，即表示阁下已接受《联合日报》所立定的一切订阅条款。
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Once become a Subscriber of United Daily News ePaper, Subscriber is bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement (collectively "the Terms and Conditions"). If Subscriber does not agree to this agreement, please do not subscribe and use the Service. The Service is offered to Subscriber conditioned on Subscriber's acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. This agreement comprises the entire agreement between Subscriber and United Daily News and supersedes all prior agreements between the parties regarding the subject matter contained herein.BY COMPLETING THE SUBSCRIPTION PROCESS , YOU ARE INDICATING YOUR AGREEMENT TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

2. 服务简介
订阅服务是指订阅浏览《联合日报》属下电子报服务。《联合日报》透过电子工具将订阅服务传送至订户。订户须确定接收订阅服务之电话线路、电脑硬件及其他装置操作正常。
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
United Daily News is providing Subscriber with a variety of services via the electronic devices and on United Daily News's own system. Subscriber shall be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all telephone, computer hardware and other equipment needed for access to and use of the Service and all charges related thereto. The right to use the Service is personal to Subscriber and is not transferable to any other person or entity.

3. 订户责任
订阅服务只限付款订户使用，使用权不可转交他人。要维持正常的订阅服务，订户必须依时缴交订阅费用。 若提供的资料有误，《联合日报》有权终止对订户提供之服务。订户必须依时以信用卡缴付新一期订阅费用。订户于订阅时已授权予联合日报透过所提供之信用卡户口每月或每年扣除订阅费用。
3. RESPONSIBILITY OF SUBSCRIBERS
In consideration for the Service, Subscriber agrees to pay all the service charges from time to time designated by United Daily News for the use of the Service ("the Fees"). If any information provided by Subscriber is inaccurate, United Daily News retains the right to terminate Subscriber's Subscription and rights to use the Service. Subscriber agrees to pay the Fees which is due from time to time by payment through the Subscriber's credit card account. Subscriber hereby authorizes United Daily News to Auto Debit his or her credit card for payment of the Fees and Subscriber agrees to complete all necessary documents to effect such payment.

4. 修改订阅条款
《联合日报》有权修改订阅条款，包括增加订阅费用等等。此类修改、增加或删除条款项目于联合日报、联合日报网站（www.weareunited.com.my)或其他通讯公布时即时生效。当订户继续使用《联合日报》电子报服务时即代表订户接受该修订。
4. MODIFCATIONS TO TERMS OF SERVICE
United Daily News may change the terms and conditions of this agreement from time to time to change or modify the Terms and Conditions, including, but not limited to, adding fees and charges for use of the Service. Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon notice thereof, which may be given by means including, but not limited to, posting on weareunited.com.my, or by electronic or conventional mail, or by any other means by which Subscriber obtains notice thereof. Any use of the Service by Subscriber after such notice shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by Subscriber of such changes, modifications or additions. Subscriber's continued use of the Service constitutes an affirmative : (i) acknowledgement by Subscriber of this agreement and its modifications and (ii) agreement by Subscriber to abide and be bound by this agreement and its modifications.

5. 续订服务
于月订或年订会籍届满前重新签购配套, 若在会籍被终止后仍有意续阅，则需重新签购。
5. RENEWAL TO SERVICE
When your membership expires, pls resubscribe, otherwise your membership will be automatically terminated after expiry date. For continued the service, you need to re-subcribe.

6. 更改订阅服务
联合日报有权立即终止对任何订户所提供之订阅服务，事先无须以书面通知。订户不得更改或终止订阅服务。
6. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE
United Daily News reserves the right to modify or discontinue any or all of the Service with or without notice to Subscriber. United Daily News shall not be liable to Subscriber or any third party should United Daily News exercise its right to modify or discontinue the Service.

7. 订户帐号、密码及保安
订户必须保留订户帐号及密码为个人使用。并将资料保密。订户须要对户口内的一切行为负责。订户可于需要时更改密码。如户口被人盗用，订户必须尽快通知《联合日报》（电邮: [email protected])
7. SUBSCRIBER LOGIN I.D., PASSWORD, AND SECURITY
Subscriber will receive a Subscriber Login Name and a password for Subscriber's account. Subscriber are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Subscriber's Login Name, password and any other information of Subscriber's account. Furthermore, Subscriber is entirely responsible for any and all activities which occur under Subscriber's account. Subscriber may change Subscriber's password at any time by following instructions. Subscriber agrees to immediately notify United Daily News (Email:[email protected]) of any unauthorized use of Subscriber's account or any other breach of security known to Subscriber.

8. 免责声明、豁免条款
阁下明确了解并同意您使用马来西亚联合媒体公司（又《联合日报》）属下《联合日报》网站(www.weareunited.com.my) 之《联合日报》电子报的服务之风险是由您个人负担。本资讯、产品及服务是依“现况”及“现有”基础提供。

《联合日报》清楚明示不提供任何明示或默示的担保，包含但不限于商业适售性、特定目的之适用性及未侵害他人权利。

《联合日报》不保证《联合日报》网站(www.weareunited.com.my)或《联合日报》电子报的资讯、产品及服务将符合您的要求，或该资讯、产品及服务及其使用及取得之结果不受干扰、及时提供、正确、安全可靠或免于出错。《联合日报》亦不保证软体及硬体中的任何错误都将得到更正。

《联合日报》不保证经由或透过《联合日报》网站(www.weareunited.com.my) 或《联合日报》电子报购买或取得之任何商品及服务之结果。

《联合日报》不负责，亦不承担任何一切因使用《联合日报》网站(www.weareunited.com.my) 或《联合日报》电子报而引致之任何意外、错误、遗漏、疏忽、干扰、经传送或接收的错误、因下载而感染电脑病毒、诽谤、合约毁坏、版权、知识产权侵犯及所造成的任何损失。

联合日报不承担任何经由或透过《联合日报》网站(www.weareunited.com.my) 或《联合日报》电子报购买或取得之任何资讯、产品及服务，或接收之讯息，或进行之交易所衍生之替代商品及服务之购买成本，及您的传输或资料遭到未获授权的存取或变造，所带来之直接、间接、附带、特别、衍生性或惩罚性赔偿。《联合日报》网站(www.weareunited.com.my) 或《联合日报》可能包含第三者张贴之内容。联合日报对由第三者张贴之内容所带来之损失概不负责。

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Web user expressly agrees that use of weareunited (www. weareunited.com.my) or United Daily News ePaper Application is at the sole risk of web user. The content, materials, goods and/or service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

United Daily News expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of title, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

United Daily News makes no warranty that the content, materials, goods and/or service will meet your requirements, or that your access to the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free; nor does United Daily News make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of goods or service or as to the accuracy or reliability of any information or content obtained through www. weareunited.com.my or United Daily News ePaper Application or that defects in software or hardware problems will be corrected.

United Daily News makes no warranty regarding any goods or service purchased or obtained through weareunited.com.my or any transactions entered into through www.eunited.com.my or United Daily News ePaper Application.

This disclaimer of liability applies to any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of record, whether for breach of contract, tortious behaviour, negligence, or under any other cause of action.

In no event shall United Daily News, or any person or entity involved in creating, producing or provision of any contents, materials, goods and/or services through a.com be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use or the inability to use the service or for cost of procurement of substitute goods and service or resulting from any goods or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through www. weareunited.com.my or United Daily News ePaper Application, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangible, even if United Daily News has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

www.weareunited.com.my or United Daily News ePaper Application may contains materials provided or posted by web users. United Daily News has not edited or reviewed any of the aforesaid materials. United Daily News shall not be responsible and liable to any losses and damages arising from the materials provided or posted by web users.

9. 不得转让订阅服务
订阅服务只限订户个人使用。订户单位必须为独立人士，而非任何公司或团体。未得联合日报之许可，订户不得转售订阅服务内容或作商业用途。r/> 9. NO RESALE OR COMMERCIAL USE OF THE SERVICEr/> Subscriber's right to use the Service is personal to Subscriber. Subscriber may only be an individual. Subscriber may not be a corporation or other business entity. Subscriber agrees not to resell or make any commercial use of the Service, without the express consent of United Daily News.

10. 订户操守
订户不得利用《联合日报》电子报之内容作非法用途。订户需全部负责资讯传送之过程。订户必须遵守国内及海外之法律，不得进行违法活动如︰
(i) 透过《联合日报》网站(www.weareunited.com.my) 或《联合日报》电子报订阅服务进行问卷调查、比赛、传销、连锁信件、广告信函、滥发邮件或传播任何含有商业性质之资讯；
(ii) 侵犯他人私隐及破坏声誉之活动如︰诽谤、毁谤、骚扰、追踪及威胁等等；
(iii) 制造及散播不适当、滥用、诽谤、侵犯他人、猥亵、不道德或含有非法成份之资讯；
(iv) 宣传、销售或买卖任何服务或货品作非个人用途；
(v) 收集他人的个人资料及电邮地址；
(vi) 伪造身份传播讯息；
(vii) 传送或上载任何含有病毒、炸弹或有害的程式；
(viii) 传送或上载任何违反知识产权、他人私隐或声誉之资讯；
(ix) 干扰或破坏联系提供服务的网络，影响网络的正常运作；
(x) 企图以未经授权的身份使用服务、他人户口、联系至伺服器的电脑或网络；及
(xi) 干扰其他订户享用服务
《联合日报》有权取消违反操守的订户的户口。
10. SUBSCRIBER CONDUCT
As a condition of Subscriber's use of the Service, Subscriber warrants to United Daily News that Subscriber will not use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions or notices. Subscriber is solely responsible for the contents of his or her transmissions through the Service. Subscriber agrees to abide by all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations and are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur under Subscriber's account or password, including the content of Subscriber's transmissions through the Service. By way of example, and not as a limitation, Subscriber agree not to :
(i) use the Service in connection with surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise);
(ii) defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others;
(iii) publish, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful material or information;
(iv) advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any non-personal purpose;
(v) harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent;
(vi) create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others as to the identity of the sender or the origin of a message;
(vii) transmit or upload any material that contains viruses, time bombs, or any other harmful or deleterious programs;
(viii) transmit or upload any material that contains software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, rights of privacy or publicity or any other applicable law unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents;
(ix) interfere with or disrupt networks connected to the Service or violate the regulations, policies or procedures of such networks;
(x) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Service, through password mining or any other means; and
(xi) interfere with another Subscriber's use and enjoyment of the Service or another individual's or entity's use and enjoyment of similar services.
United Daily News has no obligation to monitor the Service or any user's use thereof or retain the content of any user session. However, United Daily News reserves the right at all times to monitor, review, retain and / or disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation legal process or governmental request. United Daily News may, at its sole discretion, immediately terminate the Service should Subscriber's conduct fails to conform to these terms and conditions of this Agreement.

11. 赔偿条款
订户须负责《联合日报》一切因订户使用《联合日报》网站(www.weareunited.com.my) 或《联合日报》电子报时所造成任何损失之赔偿。
11. INDEMNIFICATION
Subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold United Daily News, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of Subscriber's use of the Service, the violation of this agreement by Subscriber, or the infringement by Subscriber, or other user of the Service using Subscriber's computer, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.

12. 终止订阅
订户不得更改或终止订阅服务。如订户并不同意任何经修改的订阅条款，请勿继续使用订阅服务。而《联合日报》不会退还已付之订阅费用。联合日报有权取消违反操守订户的户口。
12. TERMINATION
United Daily News may terminate the Service with or without cause at any time and effective immediately. United Daily News shall not be liable to Subscriber or any third party for termination of Service. Should Subscriber object to any terms and conditions of this agreement or any subsequent modifications thereto or become dissatisfied with the Service in any way, Subscriber's only recourse is to immediately: (i) discontinue use of the Service. (ii) terminate Service Subscription; and (iii) notify United Daily Newsof termination. Upon termination of the Service, Subscriber's right to use the Service immediately ceases and Subscriber will not be entitled to a refund of any Fee on the termination of Services in accordance with this Clause 13. NO REFUND IS ALLOWED. United Daily News retains the right, at United Daily News's sole discretion, to determine whether or not Subscriber's conduct is consistent with the letter and spirit of this agreement and may terminate the Service if a Subscriber's conduct is found to be inconsistent with this agreement.

13. 消息通知
《联合日报》将以书面形式，透过电邮、《联合日报》网站(www.weareunited.com.my) 或《联合日报》电子报通知订户所有订阅消息。
13. NOTICE
All notices to a party shall be in writing and shall be made either via email, conventional mail or may publish notices through the service on www. weareunited.com.my and United Daily News ePaper Application to inform Subscriber of changes to this agreement, the Service, or other matters of importance; such publication shall constitute notice to Subscriber.

14. 知识产权保障之内容
订户必须认明联合日报所提供之内容，包括︰文字、档案、音乐、声音档案、相片、影片、图案或广告内容只限订户于网上浏览，并受版权、商标、专利权或其他知识产权法例保障。订户下载受知识产权保障之内容只限私人或非商业用途。订户必须保存完整内容，未经联合日报同意下，不得翻印、复制、散播或制造由下载内容而衍生的作品。
14. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS TO CONTENT
Subscriber acknowledges that content, including but not limited to text, software, music, sound, photographs, video, graphics or other material contained in either sponsor advertisements or electronically distributed, commercially produced information presented to Subscriber by the Service, United Daily News or United Daily News's Advertisers or content providers, is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights and laws; Subscriber may make a copy of this content for Subscriber's personal, non-commercial use only, provided that Subscriber keeps all copyright and other proprietary notices intact. Subscriber may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without expressly being authorized to do so by United Daily News or the Advertiser.
